Managing Director

Mark established the company in 2010 having spent over 20 years working in the industry.

Starting out as an apprentice mechanical engineer in the Royal Navy, Mark is a time served engineer who spent 10 years working in senior management roles within the big five FM providers before starting Evotech.

Mark leads the senior management team and supports our day to day operations driving added value and customer satisfaction.

John Lumb

John Lumb

Business Development Director

John co-founded the company with Mark in 2010 having worked together during the prior 8 years running a hard services company for one of the big five FM providers.

Prior to this John worked in the FM sector in both supplier and customer organisations within the Finance and Logistics industries.

John leads business development activities, finding fresh opportunities to enable the company to grow and remain sustainable.

Steve Traynor

Regional Director (North)

Steve joined the company in 2012 as a senior engineer, bringing with him over 20 years of experience.

Having started out as an apprentice engineer in the Royal Airforce, Steve is a time served engineer with a background in electrical and electronic systems.

Having gained his Incorporated Engineer status in 2016, Steve now leads service delivery in the North of England developing long term relationships with his clients.

Matt Carver

Regional Director (South)

Matt joined the company in 2014 to lead and develop our Southern region.

As an experienced senior manager, Matt started out as an apprentice mechanical engineer, time served and specialising in BMS controls.

This led Matt into a variety of management positions within large hard services providers before joining Evotech.

Today Matt is responsible for service delivery throughout the South of England, and also for developing long term relationships with his clients.

Senior Consulting Engineer

Richard joined the company in 2012 as a design engineer bringing with him over 5 years experience working in the m&e design and project management industry.

Following his ambitions, Richard became a Chartered Engineer in 2017 gaining acclaim for his research into the building performance gap.

Richard now leads our Professional Services team with the objective of helping our clients improve how their buildings perform.

Tom Makelio

Commercial Manager

Tom joined the company in 2011 as our management accountant bringing with him over 10 years experience in various admin and finance roles within the hard services industry.

As a qualified management accountant, Tom is now responsible for our commercial department which supports our operational teams, manages our supply chain and develops our workflow systems.

Nadine Bottomley

Nadine Bottomley

Finance Manager

Nadine joined the company in early 2019 as Finance Manager bringing with her over 10 years’ experience in accounts and finance roles.

As a qualified AAT accountant with MAAT status she leads, mentors and develops our finance team, managing day to day transactional services and overseeing the production of audited statutory accounts.

Nadine also works closely with our commercial team identifying operational improvements and creating added value.

Lou Davey

QSHE Manager

Lou joined the company in 2015 to lead and develop our inhouse health & safety, environmental and quality management systems. Bringing with him over 25 years’ experience in the industry, Lou started out as an apprentice engineer before moving into the H&S field. Lou is an accredited IOSH trainer who provides inhouse training courses and development workshops to our operational and managements teams.
