Background
The Guinness Partnership is one of the largest providers of affordable housing and care services in England. Founded as a charitable trust in 1890, they build and manage homes and provide housing services across 125 local authority areas in England, for more than 140,000 customers, with 64,000 homes let at social or affordable rents or on shared ownership agreements.
Brief
Starting originally with the Head Office in Oldham, Evotech now provides mechanical compliance services at The Guinness Partnership’s offices nationally, ensuring they operate safely and in compliance with their insurance requirements and all relevant UK legislation.
Summary of works provided:
- Routine servicing and inspection of ventilation and air conditioning systems in accordance with SFG 20 standards and manufacturer’s instructions
- Periodic safety checks to all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment at applicable intervals in line with F-Gas regulations
- Five yearly CIBSE TM44 inspections of air conditioning systems for buildings with a cooling output of over 12KW in line with The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive
